- 1 large Onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 5 medium Green chilies roasted and peeled
- 2 cups Tomatoes diced
- 4 cups Chicken broth
- 2 cups Chicken breast cooked and shredded
- 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Prepare the Ingredients
Bring the olive oil to a medium-low temperature in a large pot.
Add the onion and garlic, cooking until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the green chilies and tomatoes, cooking for another 5 minutes.
Add the Liquids and Spices
Add the chicken broth and boil the whole thing for a while.
Add the shredded chicken, cumin, and oregano.
