Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 14 oz Condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp Sweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Clove powder

Instructions
 

Step: Preparing the Mixture

  • Place condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, and coconut milk in the saucepan.
  • Stir over medium heat until well combined.
  • Add sugar and mix until smooth.

Step: Cooking

  • Continue to cook the mixture, stirring constantly.
  • Use the candy thermometer to monitor until it reaches 245°F (118°C).
  • Once at temperature, remove from heat and add clove powder.

Step: Setting the Candy

  • Pour the mixture into molds.
  • Allow to cool and set, typically taking about 2 hours.
  • Once set, remove the candies from molds.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, constantly stir the mixture while cooking.
  • If you prefer a less sweet version, reduce the sugar by a quarter cup.
