- 1 large Fresh loaf of Tuscan bread
- ¼ cup Olive oil
- 3 tablespoons Fresh garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
- A pinch Red pepper flakes optional
Preparing the Garlic-Olive Oil Mixture
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Make sure to mix the ingredients well until they are all mixed in.
Preparing the Bread
Slice the Tuscan bread loaf horizontally to create two equal halves.
Generously brush both halves with the garlic-olive oil mixture. Make sure every inch is covered.
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the oiled surfaces.
Baking
Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cheese side up.
Place in an oven that has already been heated for 10 minutes with the foil covering it.
Remove the foil, and bake for another 10 minutes or until the edges are crispy and golden.
- For an extra crispy crust, broil the bread for 2-3 minutes after baking. Watch it closely to prevent burning.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs to the garlic-olive oil mixture for a personalized touch.
- Serve warm for the best experience. This bread pairs wonderfully with pasta, soup, or salad.
