- 3 large Ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Melted butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts optional
Prepare the Wet Ingredients
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan lightly.
Make the bananas smooth in a large bowl by mashing them.
Stir in the melted butter.
Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine the Dry Ingredients
Mix and Bake
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mix, stirring until the flour disappears.
You can add chocolate chips and peanuts if you want.
Just put the batter in the cake pan when it’s ready.
Put it in the oven for an hour or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean.
The bread should cool in the pan for 10 minutes before being moved to a wire rack to cool all the way through.
- For an extra banana flavor, add a fourth banana.
- If you like a crunch, toss in some more nuts.
- Watch your bread carefully because oven temperatures can change!
