- 2 cups Fresh raspberries
- 2 Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
- 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- As needed Water optional
Cook the Sauce
Add all ingredients, except for water, to a medium saucepan.
To make it simmer, lower the heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
Continue to simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the sauce thickens to your liking.
If the sauce seems too thick, add a bit of water to reach the desired consistency.
Blend the Sauce
After letting the sauce cool down a bit, put it in a blender.
Blend until smooth. Be careful with the hot mixture!
- For a smoother sauce, strain it through a fine mesh to remove raspberry seeds.
- Depending on how spicy you like things, change the number of chipotle peppers. More peppers mean more heat!
