Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Blender or food processor
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Silicone spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh raspberries
  • 2 Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • As needed Water optional

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Wash the raspberries under cold water.
  • Mince the garlic finely to ensure it blends seamlessly into the sauce.

Cook the Sauce

  • Add all ingredients, except for water, to a medium saucepan.
  • To make it simmer, lower the heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Continue to simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the sauce thickens to your liking.
  • If the sauce seems too thick, add a bit of water to reach the desired consistency.

Blend the Sauce

  • After letting the sauce cool down a bit, put it in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth. Be careful with the hot mixture!

Notes

  • For a smoother sauce, strain it through a fine mesh to remove raspberry seeds.
  • Depending on how spicy you like things, change the number of chipotle peppers. More peppers mean more heat!
