- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup Sugar
- 4 large Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Almond extract

- 1/2 cup Seedless raspberry jam
- 1/2 cup Apricot preserves
- 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Prepare the Batter
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking pan with parchment paper.
Add the salt, baking powder, and flour to a bowl.
In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
Next, add the vanilla and almond extracts while mixing in the eggs one at a time.
Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.Mixing the ingredients well at each stage is key to a smooth, even batter.
Color the Layers
Divide the batter evenly into five bowls.
Put food coloring in each bowl in a different color. Mix thoroughly until each is vibrant.
Spread each colored batter in separate sections of the prepared pan, or use separate small pans if available.Ensure each layer is smooth and even for the best visual effect.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
After a few minutes of cooling in the pan, move to a wire rack to finish cooling.Keep a close eye on the oven; overbaking can dull the colors!
- Storage: Keep the cookie cake in an airtight container to maintain its soft texture.
- Color Choices: Opt for gel food coloring for more intense and vibrant colors.
