- 1 pound Elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 3 cups Milk
- 4 cups shredded Sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
Making the Cheese Sauce
Use medium-sized saucepan on medium heat to melt butter.
Stir in flour until smooth.
Gradually whisk in milk until the mixture is smooth and starts to thicken.
Add 3 cups of cheddar and all the mozzarella cheese to the saucepan, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
