Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Maraschino cherries drained
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Condensed milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter
  • 2 cups Milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Chopped peanuts

Cherry Filling

  • Finely chop the maraschino cherries. In a medium saucepan, combine the cherries, sugar, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly (about 5 minutes).
  • Remove from heat, stir in condensed milk and vanilla extract. Set aside to cool.

Chocolate Layer

  • Melt the milk chocolate chips and peanut butter together. You can use a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring in between until smooth.

Assembly

  • On a parchment-lined baking sheet, spoon small rounds of the chocolate mixture. Top each with a spoonful of cherry filling, then sprinkle chopped peanuts over the cherry layer.
  • Drizzle or cover with remaining chocolate mixture. Refrigerate until set, about 1-2 hours.
