- 3 large Cucumbers thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup Chamoy sauce
- 3 tablespoons Lime juice
- 2 teaspoons Chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Step: Prepare the Pickling Mixture
In your large mixing bowl, combine the Chamoy sauce, lime juice, chili powder, sugar, and salt. Stir until everything is well mixed.
Add the thinly sliced cucumbers to the bowl. Toss them gently to coat them thoroughly with the pickling mixture.
Note: Make sure each cucumber slice gets an even coating of the Chamoy mix to ensure the flavors are well-absorbed.
Step: Jar the Cucumbers
Transfer the coated cucumber slices into your pickling jar.
Pour any remaining mixture from the bowl over the cucumbers in the jar. Seal the jar tightly.
Note: The cucumbers should be fully submerged in the mixture to pickle evenly.
- Quick Pickle: If you’re short on time, let the pickles sit at room temperature for about an hour before serving—they’ll still be delicious!
- Adjust Spice Levels: Feel free to adjust the amount of chili powder based on how spicy you like your pickles.
