Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Black pepper

Instructions

Step 1 – Combine Base Ingredients

  • In your mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, garlic, and lemon juice until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  • Make sure the garlic is finely minced to avoid any raw, overpowering bites!
  • Note: This sauce base creates a creamy texture with a fiery kick, ideal for those who love a bit of heat.

Step 2 – Season and Simmer

  • Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat over a low flame.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  • Continue to stir until well combined and heated through, about 5 minutes. Do not let the sauce boil; we want it hot, not split!
  • Warning: Cayenne pepper is potent; a little goes a long way, especially if you’re not used to spicy foods.

Notes

  • If the sauce is too thick, thin it with a bit more lemon juice or a splash of water for the desired consistency.
  • For an extra garlicky punch, add an additional clove of minced garlic.
